Tooth Replacement Services You Can Afford
- We offer tooth replacement services to all adults regardless of financial status.
- Medicaid and VA benefits are accepted (patients may file their own claims to other dental insurers).
- The patient portion of payments are due at the time of service, prior to starting treatment.
What can you expect to pay for Local Start services?
We offer a range of services and fees depending upon the specific treatment recommended by your dentist.
Our “Starting At” fees are lower than standard fees and are available only to patients who provide proof of financial needs. We are glad to help you learn if you qualify.

Includes x-rays, if needed. Consult fee will be credited back to patient upon treatment.
Complex/surgical extractions carry a higher fee.
Fee is per arch for a custom-made Complete, Immediate or Acrylic Partial Denture.
Fee is per arch (upper or lower).
Fee is per implant and does not include cost of implant attachments (varies by case).
*Fixed or Permanent Implant Supported Dentures and Crowns are also available after consultation and treatment recommended by dentist.
*Qualified Medicaid and VA benefits gladly accepted.
*Proof of income required.
A. A limited number of patients with household incomes under $25,000/year may qualify for free conventional dentures. Please inquire.
B. Special lower fees may apply if services are provided during professional education programs. Please inquire.
C. Tooth extraction service fees shown only apply to preparation for dentures. Single tooth extraction fee unrelated to dentures is $109/tooth.

Medicaid is a Great Option. Have you applied?
If so, please call our office at 919-569-5533 and provide your your Recipient ID number so we may verify your eligibility for dental care. We will confirm eligibility and proceed with scheduling. If not, you will be notified and you will be given options to continue as a self-pay patient.
If you do not have Medicaid, please apply for Medicaid prior to calling our office.
If you get denied or have been denied in the last 12 months, please bring the official denial letter with you to your appointment to be considered for pro bono treatment.

Local Start Pro Bono
Local Start is delighted to offer complete pro bono (“no fee”) conventional dentures (and related extractions, if needed) for up to 8 patients per month on a first-come-first-served basis. Should the demand exceed this in any given month, patients will be queued up for consults for free dentures in future months. As always, Medicaid and VA patients, as well as other self-pay patients, are welcome.
We encourage all patients to call us with their questions and to schedule consults. We also have discounted fee schedules for qualifying patients with household incomes under $40,000.
