Paul Gardner

Paul Gardner is a veteran development and alumni affairs executive, who retired in 2024 after 21 years as the associate dean for advancement at the UNC Adams School of Dentistry.

 

Gardner also led advancement teams at the UNC Hussman School of Communications and the UNC School of Law during his 32 years at Carolina. He also worked in advancement at Georgia Tech, the University of Chicago, and the Washington and Lee University School of Law.

 

A UNC journalism and mass communication graduate, Gardner led advancement teams that raised more than $150 million. He and his wife, Ronni, live in Chapel Hill. They have two grown children, Tucker and Lily.
